Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Creative Warrior (“we”, “us” or “our”) is a boutique digital marketing and website design studio based in Perth, Western Australia. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information openly and responsibly, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and store it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it. It applies to our website at www.creativewarrior.com.au, our services, and the software tools we use to deliver those services.
What information we collect
We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for us to provide our services and run our business. This may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, website address, and any details you share with us about your business, your project or your marketing goals.
If you become a client, we may also collect information needed to deliver and invoice our services, such as billing details, login access to your website, hosting, social media or advertising accounts, and content you supply to us such as photos, logos and written copy.
When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect general information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and how you arrived at our site. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA.
How we collect your information
We collect personal information directly from you when you fill in a form on our website, request a quote or free report, book a coaching or brainstorming session, email us, call us, send us a message on WhatsApp or social media, or work with us as a client.
We may occasionally receive information about you from a third party, for example when a client refers you to us or when we manage a website or social media account on a client’s behalf.
How we use your information
We use your personal information to respond to your enquiries, prepare quotes and proposals, deliver and manage our services, send invoices and receive payment, provide support, improve our website and services, and meet our legal obligations.
With your consent, we may also send you helpful marketing emails or resources. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
We will not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Google API services and our automation tools
To deliver services such as blog publishing, SEO reporting and content planning, we use our own internal automation tools, including an application called Blog Automation. With the permission of the Google account holder, these tools may access Google Search Console data (such as search queries, clicks, impressions and rankings for websites we manage) and Google Sheets that we use to plan and track our work.
We use this information only to plan, create and report on content and SEO work for our own website and the client websites we are engaged to manage. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone other than the relevant client and the service providers needed to run the tool.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove our tools’ access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account security settings.
Artificial intelligence tools
We use trusted AI writing and productivity tools, such as Claude by Anthropic, to help draft content, blog posts and marketing material. We only provide these tools with the business information needed for the task, and all AI generated content is reviewed by our team before it is published.
Who we share your information with
We may share your personal information with trusted people and service providers who help us run our business and deliver our services. These include our team members and contractors, website hosting providers, and the software platforms we use for project management, email, scheduling, social media management, design, analytics and invoicing.
Some of our team members, contractors and service providers are located, or store data, outside Australia. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We may also disclose your information where we are required or authorised to by law.
Client websites and accounts
When we build, host or manage a website, social media account or advertising account for a client, we may have access to personal information collected by that client, such as enquiry form submissions. We handle that information only on our client’s behalf and for the purpose of providing our services to them. Our clients remain responsible for their own privacy policies.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to help it work properly, understand how visitors use it, and protect it from spam and abuse. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, although some parts of the website may not work as intended if you do.
How we store and protect your information
We store personal information in secure, password protected systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, after which we securely delete or de-identify it.

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Please contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Making a complaint
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
